The FTSE closed at 7,335.4 Friday after 6th straight days of drops

A quick look at Friday: bearish sentiment ensured FTSE finished Friday's session lower. However, despite the downward bias, the FTSE etched out a distinct 7,309.3 to 7,510.47 session range.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, CAC slips 1.43% Friday and closed at 7,025.72. Dow Jones lost 1.19% Friday and closed at 32,247. DAX is down to 14,768, losing 198.9 points, after ending the previous session around 14,967.

The index has been trending lower for about 29 days. The FTSE has fallen back around 7.52% from the significant high of 8,012.53 set a month ago.
