The FTSE closed Friday at 7,335.4 after six straight days of drops

A quick look at Friday: bearish sentiment ensured FTSE finished Friday's session lower. However, despite the downward bias, the FTSE etched out a distinct 7,309.3 to 7,510.47 session range.

The FTSE has fallen back around 7.52% from the significant high of 8,012.53 set a month ago.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, CAC is down to 6,925.4, losing 100.32 points, after ending the previous session around 7,025.72. Dow Jones lost 1.19% Friday and closed at 32,247. DAX lost 1.33% Friday and closed at 14,967.
