The Nasdaq index sheds 86.76 points (-0.74%) as market bears take the reigns

Friday at a glance: Nasdaq ended the session around the 11,631 level today, after Thursday's 86.76 points decline and close at 11,717.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, CAC slips 1.43% Friday and closed at 7,025.72. After ending Friday's session at 32,247, Dow Jones lost 384.57 points and is trading around 31,862. DAX is down to 14,768, losing 198.9 points, after ending the previous session around 14,967.

The index has been trending lower for about a month. 2 months ago, the Nasdaq fell to a low of 10,200 but has since recovered 14.73%.
