The Nasdaq rallied beyond 13,000 for the first time in 9 months

After ending yesterday at 12,700, Nasdaq rallied to 13,000 today, hitting its highest point in 9 months. It later lost 24.31 points and closed at 12,976.

Nevertheless, United States Core Durable Goods Orders fell short of the 0% projections, with new data of -0.2%. United States Pending Home Sales improved upon its previous reading of -5.2% with a new data release of 0%.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.

Other markets are also showing gains as S&P 500 added 1.3% and closed around 4,151.28 today. CAC went up by 1.24% today, and closed at 7,319.18.

At the same time, Hang Seng is down to 18,747, losing 353.08 points, after ending the previous session around 19,100.

The index has been trending positively for about 2 months. After hitting an important low of 10,200 approximately 4 months ago, the Nasdaq has bounced back 24.33% since.
