The S&P 500 closed Friday at 3,916.64 after four straight days of drops

Friday at a glance: the S&P retained its composure around the 3,916.64 level after dropping 1.1%.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, CAC slumps 1.43% Friday and closed at 7,025.72. Dow Jones is down to 31,862, losing 384.57 points, after ending the previous session around 32,247. After ending Friday's session at 14,967, DAX lost 198.9 points and is trading around 14,768.

The index has been trending lower for about a month. After hitting an important low of 3,577 approximately 5 months ago, the S&P 500 has bounced back 10.71% since.
