The S&P closed at 3,916.64 Friday after 4th straight days of drops

A quick look at Friday: the S&P retained its composure around the 3,916.64 level after dropping 1.1%.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, CAC lost 1.43% Friday and closed at 7,025.72. After ending Friday's session at 32,247, Dow Jones lost 384.57 points and is trading around 31,862. DAX lost 1.33% Friday and closed at 14,967.

The index has been trending lower for about a month. The S&P 500 is up 10.71% from the significant low of 3,577 it hit 5 months ago.
