The S&P closed Friday at 3,916.64 after four straight days of drops

A quick look at Friday: S&P 500 ended the session around the 3,916.64 level today, after Thursday's 43.64 points decline and close at 3,960.28.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, CAC draws back 1.43% Friday and closed at 7,025.72. Dow Jones stumbles 1.19% Friday and closed at 32,247. DAX goes down 1.33% Friday and closed at 14,967.

The index has been trending lower for about a month. The S&P 500 hit a significant low of 3,577 around 5 months ago, but has since recovered 10.71%.
