UBS opened at $19.89 today before posting solid session gaining 1.28%

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.

A look at other financials stocks also showed bullish price action as American Express added 4.08% to its value, and traded at $157.24. Goldman Sachs gained 2.51%, as it traded at $332. The Blackstone Group Inc. added 2.6% to its value, and traded at $85.7.

On a negative trend for around a month. The Swiss banking juggernaut reached a significant high of $22.16 around 2 months ago but has lost 11.55% since then.
