United Microelectronics on track to close around $7.37 after losing 1.67%

The global semiconductor company is sliding down from $7.49 to $7.37, taking a 1.67% loss as it nears the end of the session.

With only 39 minutes of the current session remaining as we head towards the close on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq dropped to 11,233 — a 0.46% fall. While United Microelectronics is down today, the Technology sector is up (0.185%).

Having set a significant low of $5.36 a month ago, the Taiwanese semiconductor supplier is trading 39.74% higher. So far in 2022, it has been outperforming the Nasdaq by 4.65%. United Microelectronics is currently trading with a market cap of $18.39 billion with an average daily volume of 11.46 million shares. United Microelectronics is forecasted to generate revenues of $67.87 billion and EPS of 37 cents.

United Microelectronics's stock value drop coincides with after closing the previous session (Wednesday) at $151.07, Apple lost $3.13 and is trading around $147.94.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other technology stocks as Sony Group Corporation gained 1.29%, currently at $83.26. Accenture plc Class A (Ireland) is trading at $296.72 after ending Wednesday's session at $294.53 (up 0.74%).
