Upwardly mobile Palladium extends gains by $5.4; closes session 0.38% higher

A quick look at today: Palladium ended yesterday at $1,415.6. today it went up to $1,451 only to drop back, yet still managed to close at $1,421 per troy ounce.

On the flip side, Core Durable Goods Orders in United States fell short of market expectations (0%) with a reading of -0.2%, continuing the decline from the previous figure of 0.3%. Highly important Pending Home Sales data from United States beat analyst expectations of 0.5% with a reading of 0%.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.

This rally in Palladium's price coincides with other Metals as Copper went up by 2.33% today, and closed at $3.67. Silver is trading around $23.45 after ending today's session at $22.91 (up 2.34% today).

7 months ago Palladium reached a significant high of $2,321.2 but has consequently lost 39% since then.
