US crude oil gains 1.45% within $71.49 to $73.05 daily range

Today at a glance: Crude Oil ended yesterday at $71.83. today it went up to $73.05 only to drop back, yet still managed to close at $72.87 per barrel.

On the flip side, data from United States concerning Core Durable Goods Orders was released today at 12:30 UTC. Newly published figures emphasized continued decline from last month's figure of 0.3% to -0.2% this month. United States Pending Home Sales improved upon its previous reading of -5.2% with a new data release of 0%.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) released today at 12:30 UTC with a figure of 0.4, while the previous figure was 0.3.

This rally in West Texas crude's price coincides with other Energy as Heating Oil went up by 1.24% today, and closed at $2.38. Brent Crude Oil goes up 1.21% today and closed at $76.26.

Meanwhile, Natural Gas is down to $2.2, losing 10.9 cents, after ending the previous session around $2.31.

23 days ago, WTI crude fell to a low of $68.25 but has since recovered 5.25%.
