Vanguard S&P 500 ETF trades at $367.68, disappointing United States Crude Oil Inventories data

As the current session draws to a close, Vanguard S&P 500 ETF remains in the $361.68 – $368.16 range after dropping 0.02%.

Highly important Crude Oil Inventories data from United States beat analyst expectations of 971,000 with a reading of 533,000. United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. United States Cushing Crude Oil Inventories released today at 15:30 UTC with a figure of 4.27 million, while the previous figure was 3.65 million.

As things stand, upcoming United States Core Durable Goods Orders data is projected to fall short of market expectations with newly published data of -0.2%, following on from the preceding figure of 0.1%. New data is set to be published tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. Tomorrow at 13:30 UTC data for United States GDP will be released, with an expected decline to 2.6 from the preceding figure of 3.2.

NextEra Energy closed at $77.55 (down 7.57%). AT&T gained 5.92% and is currently trading at $20.3. HDFC Bank Limited drops 5.8% to trade around $67.3.

This year has been a bright one for Vanguard S&P 500 ETF after trading as low as $327.64 and going on to appreciate by 5.07% year to date.
