VOO ascends to $385.87 after adding 1.3% today

Today at a glance: after finishing yesterday at $380.92, Vanguard S&P 500 ETF went up to $386.57 before paring its losses and closing at $385.87.

On the flip side, highly important Core Durable Goods Orders data from United States beat analyst expectations of 0% with a reading of -0.2%. United States Pending Home Sales fell short of the 0.5% projections, with new data of 0%.

Meanwhile, United States Core PCE Price Index (MoM) (Apr) came out at 0.4, while a consensus of analysts was expecting 0.3.

Other markets are also showing gains as Costco leaps up 4.26% today and closed at $486.55. Intel rallies 5.84% today and closed at $27.4. Netflix went up by 5.54% today, and closed at $378.88.

This year has been a bright one for Vanguard S&P 500 ETF after trading as low as $327.64 and going on to appreciate by 10.4% year to date.
