Western Union bulls in charge as markets close for Thanksgiving

Investors are currently sidelined due to the Thanksgiving holiday but will return to their desks today. Looking back over the previous session Wednesday: after closing at $14.18 Wednesday, Western Union Co maintained a strong bullish bias that helped the stock close higher at $14.18. However, market bears ensured the the international money transfer firm topped out at $14.29 and that by the end of the session, the market had marked out a distinct $14.02 to $14.29 range.

A look at other financials stocks also showed bullish price action as HSBC Holdings traded at $29.47 after closing Wednesday's trading day at $28.95 (up 1.8%). S&P Global traded at $358.27 after closing Wednesday's trading day at $352.25 (up 1.71%). JP Morgan Chase was up 1.07%.

Having set a significant high of $20.09 22 days ago, the US financial services company is trading 13.6% lower.
