With 24 minutes left in the session, the Nasdaq is set to close 0.23% lower

As the current session draws to a close, the Nasdaq remains in the 11,069 – 11,334 range after dropping 0.23%.

Crude Oil Inventories in United States fell short of market expectations (971,000) with a reading of 533,000, continuing the decline from the previous figure of 8.41 million.

Meanwhile, United States 5-Year Note Auction released today at 18:00 UTC with a figure of 3.53, while the previous figure was 3.973. United States Cushing Crude Oil Inventories came out at 4.27 million.

In the meantime, negative performances are also seen in other markets, after ending yesterday's session at 7,490.4, ASX 200 lost 22.1 points and is trading around 7,468.3.

Positive performances can be seen by looking at other markets as having closed the previous session at 2,395.26, KOSPI Composite Index is up 1.39% today to currently trade at around 2,428.57. Hang Seng ascends 1.82% to trade around 22,045.

Looking ahead, ongoing depreciation may be prolonged as tomorrow at 13:30 UTC data for United States Core Durable Goods Orders will be released, with an expected decline to -0.2% from the preceding figure of 0.1%. United States GDP projected to come out at 2.6 — worse than previous data of 3.2; data will be released tomorrow at 13:30 UTC. United States Initial Jobless Claims projected to decline to 205,000 while previous data was 190,000; data will be released tomorrow at 13:30 UTC.

After hitting an important low of 10,200 approximately 28 days ago, the Nasdaq has bounced back 11% since.
