Yesterday's lacklustre market sentiment sees EUR/CAD drop 0.19%

A quick look at yesterday: down on the day: EUR/CAD closed at 1.46 after ranging between 1.4585 and 1.4649.

Amid the market gloom, Euro Zone CFTC EUR speculative net positions released yesterday at 20:30 UTC with a figure of 173,700, while the previous figure was 187,100. Canada Wholesale Sales (MoM) came out at 1.6. Data for France Jobseekers Total released yesterday at 10:00 UTC is better than expected with 2.80 million, but worse than previous figure of 2.79 million.

Though EUR/CAD has been dropping, other pairs have been performing better: GBP/NZD is trading around 2.0417 after ending yesterday's session at 2.0311 (up 0.52% today). GBP/JPY went up by 0.64% yesterday, and closed at 173.63. EUR/JPY went up by 0.43% yesterday, and closed at 150.87.

Having set a peak of 1.5086 around 24 days ago, EUR/CAD is now trading 3.04% below this level.
